Suor Angelica – Random Opera Company

Concerned about the local spread of the pandemic, the Abbess has instructed all of the sisters in the convent to remain confined to their rooms; taking the opportunity to use the solitude for contemplation and prayer. The sisters join daily prayers remotely.
Meanwhile, a visit from the Princess to her niece – a young noblewoman sent to the convent as penance for bearing a child out of wedlock – sets in motion a series of dire actions that ultimately result in tragedy, forgiveness, and peace.
