Kept apart by the pandemic, the relatives of Buoso Donati have gathered virtually to mourn his passing, and – more importantly – to find out about the contents of his will. When their worst fears are realised – Buoso has donated his fortune to the monastery – the relatives are forced to rely on Gianni Schicchi’s plan, to ensure they get their hands on the money. But can he be trusted?
