Following the government’s announcement of another lockdown during January & February 2021, we have decided to offer further performance opportunities, by arranging four digital productions:

  • Gianni Schicchi (in Italian)
  • Suor Angelica (in Italian)
  • two gala concerts of operatic arias, duets and scenes.

All performances will be with piano accompaniment, provided by four fantastic pianists – Erika Gundesen, Kelvin Lim, Emily Hooker & Ashley Beauchamp.

Each production will be recorded at home, during January & February 2021.

Gala Concerts

The gala concerts will cover a wide range of operatic repertoire, so we welcome singers of all voice types.

Fees

Although we are normally an amateur company, on this occasion we will be offering a small, nominal fee for each performer, to recognise that the arts have value.

If you would like to audition for any of these roles, please email richard.jones@randomopera.co.uk, with details of your performance experience, and a video recording of any suitable aria.

If you have a specific role that you would like to be considered for, please advise this in your email; otherwise you will be considered for all suitable parts.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 12th January.
